The short answer: Salesgenie pricing starts at $99 a month for the Basic plan, $149 a month for Pro and $299 a month for Team, which includes 5 user licenses. Exports and email addresses are paid with credits on top of the subscription, and the Buyer Intent add-on costs another $50 a month. Every plan is a 12-month subscription that renews month to month afterward, so the real minimum commitment is $1,188 a year on Basic and $3,588 on Team. Salesgenie gives you a list; you still do the calling and emailing. If you want the list and the outreach for one monthly price, Sdrs runs AI outbound from $49 a month with no annual term.

Salesgenie is the lead list and prospecting tool from Data Axle, the company behind the old infoUSA business database. It is popular with small businesses, insurance agents, freight brokers, contractors and local service companies that want to pull a list of businesses or households by area and industry. The prices below come from Salesgenie's own packages page and help center as published in September 2026. Where a figure is a calculation rather than a published price, we say so.

Every plan lets you add "any number of monthly credits" at any time. The packages page does not list a price per credit, and the help center says packages are tailored and priced by a database consultant, so the monthly figure you see is the floor, not the total.

What each Salesgenie plan includes

All three plans share the same data: Salesgenie says you get unlimited in-app access to prospects from over 19.5 million businesses and 255 million consumers, weekly data updates including email and phone, and 300 demographic, 400 firmographic and 8,000 intent filters. Viewing records inside the app is unlimited. Taking records out of the app, as a download or an export to email or mail tools, is where credits come in.

Basic ($99 and up) is a single seat with contact information, lead management, the mobile app and performance tracking. It suits an owner who wants to look up businesses in a territory and call them from the app.

Pro ($149) is still one seat and adds the engagement tools on the packages page, such as customer profile analysis and the built-in email and direct mail marketing features. It fits a solo seller who wants to market to the list without a separate email tool.

Team ($299) includes 5 user licenses, training and a dedicated advisor. For a small sales team it is the cheapest seat price, about $60 per user per month before credits.

How much does Salesgenie cost per year?

Because the first term is 12 months, the honest way to price Salesgenie is per year. The table below multiplies the published monthly prices by 12. It excludes credits, which vary by how many records you export.

SetupMonthlyFirst year (12-month term)
Basic$99$1,188 plus credits
Basic with Buyer Intent$149$1,788 plus credits
Pro$149$1,788 plus credits
Pro with Buyer Intent$199$2,388 plus credits
Team (5 users)$299$3,588 plus credits
Team with Buyer Intent$349$4,188 plus credits

Two practical points before you sign. First, you are billed every month on your signup date, but you cannot stop paying after month two because the subscription runs for the full 12 months. Second, the help center promises a refund for the undeliverable, out-of-date or disconnected portion of a list, which is useful if a batch of emails bounces. Ask your consultant how that credit is calculated and whether it applies to credits or cash.

Does Salesgenie have a free trial?

Salesgenie lets you explore the product for free after registering with an email address, and it does not ask for a credit card until you decide to buy. That is a look at the data and the interface, not a free export allowance, so use it to check record counts in your territory and industry before you commit to a year.

What Salesgenie does not do

Salesgenie is a data and list tool. It finds the businesses and the contact records. It does not research each prospect, write a personal first line, run a multi-step sequence, detect which replies are positive or book the meeting on your calendar. Pro's email marketing sends campaigns to a list, which is closer to a newsletter than to one-to-one prospecting.

That gap is where most of the cost of prospecting sits. A $99 list is cheap; the hours spent calling and emailing it are not. If a salesperson spends 15 hours a week working the list, the labor costs far more than the subscription. Some teams fill the gap with a separate cold email tool, a dialer and a CRM, and a few with a web scraping API to pull details that list vendors do not carry, such as the products a company lists on its own site. Others use a single AI SDR that does the list and the outreach together. The same gap applies to contact data tools sold per seat; our Seamless AI pricing breakdown shows what that data costs once you add the outreach on top.

Where Salesgenie wins: consumer and household data, direct mail, and very local lists by radius, which matters for insurance agents, home services and anyone selling to consumers. If you need homeowner or new-mover lists, Sdrs is the wrong tool.

Where Sdrs wins: selling to businesses when the bottleneck is time, not data. Sdrs builds the B2B list, researches each company, writes and sends the sequence, and on Plus ($149 a month) detects interested replies and answers them with your booking link. Starter begins at $49 a month on the published plans. For example, freight brokers use it to book calls with transportation managers, as described on our freight broker leads page, and cleaning companies use it to book walkthroughs through commercial cleaning lead generation. See how the AI appointment setter handles meeting booking.

Is Salesgenie worth it?

Salesgenie is worth it if you need consumer or very local business lists, you will work them by phone or mail yourself, and a 12-month commitment of $1,188 or more is comfortable. It is harder to justify if you sell B2B and nobody on your team has time to call and email the list every week, because a list that sits in a CRM earns nothing.

A simple test: estimate how many hours a week someone will spend working the Salesgenie list, multiply by their hourly cost, and add the subscription and credits. If that total is higher than what a done-for-you option costs, you are paying for data you will not use. Salesgenie pricing questions

How much does Salesgenie cost per month?

Salesgenie costs $99 a month for Basic, $149 for Pro and $299 for Team with 5 users, according to its packages page. Credits for exports and email addresses are extra, and the Buyer Intent add-on is $50 a month. Custom packages are quoted by a database consultant.

What are the volume limits in each Salesgenie plan?

Salesgenie's packages page does not publish a record or export cap per plan. Viewing prospects inside the app is unlimited on Basic, Pro and Team. What limits volume is credits: every export, download or email address taken out of the app uses credits that you buy on top of the subscription, in any monthly quantity. The plans differ by seats instead, with 1 user license on Basic and Pro and 5 on Team. Tools that publish their allowances make the comparison easier; Saleshandy pricing, for example, lists 1,500 to 8,000 contact credits a month by plan.

Can you cancel Salesgenie anytime?

Not in the first year. The subscription lasts 12 months, then renews month to month at the then-current rate, and you can cancel anytime after the initial term. Plan on paying for the full first year even if you stop using it.

Is Salesgenie the same as Data Axle?

Salesgenie is a product of Data Axle, formerly infoUSA. Data Axle sells data licensing and marketing services to larger companies; Salesgenie is its self-serve subscription for small businesses and sales teams.

What is a cheaper alternative to Salesgenie for B2B prospecting?

For B2B outreach, Sdrs Starter costs $49 a month with monthly billing and includes 500 leads a day from its B2B database with AI-written email sequences; Plus at $149 adds phone numbers, LinkedIn and X, reply detection with calendar booking and CRM sync. It does not replace Salesgenie's consumer data or direct mail, so the right choice depends on whether you sell to households or to businesses.
